It seems like I've been working on these socks forever! And, they are still not done. I'm getting close, though.
As you can see from this picture, I like to knit socks on two circular needles. These are size 1 needles from Knitpicks that make the knitting go fast. How do you like to knit socks?

Yay! The socks are almost done! They are looking great, especially in those colours.
I have only tried knitting socks on dpns, but I want to learn to knit them on circs. I especially want to try 2 socks on 2 circs. I have a video to learn how to do that, but haven't watched it yet.
They will be a great pair of socks when you are done! And you are very close.
I have only used dpns, and now that I've spent some money on Crystal Palace bamboo dpns, I don't think I'll be switching for a while. I do like the two circular needle idea though, although I think I would stick to one sock at a time. I'm not sure my brain could handle two at a time!
your jaywalkers look awesome :) - making me think i should think more about making a pair.
i knit my socks toe-up, usually, on dpns (figure 8 cast on) - but i'm experimenting with top-down socks...and recently got fed up with the size 1 dpns and switched to 2 circs, actually!
Your socks look great! How long have you been working on them?
I like to knit my socks two at once on one circ. Usually toe up.
I've made two pairs of Jaywalkers myself. Isn't it a great pattern?
Shorty
My knitting teacher taught me to knit on double pointed needles!! However, I chucked those and now use the magic loop - no more loosing needles for me!
Shorty-I started them in the middle of January! Yikes! It's been two months.
Amy-Your knitting teacher must have liked to torture you! Hee, hee!
Very cute! and two months is totally acceptable for a pair of socks knit on size 1 needles!
I've never knit with two circulars before - I'm a double point kindof girl. But I'll do either toe up or top down and either short row heel/toe or heel flaps. Whatever I feel like at the time.
