I Left my Heart in San Francisco

I had a wonderful vacation in San Francisco and got to visit my most favorite yarn store in the world, Artfibers. I went there with my friend Stephanie who started knitting about two years ago. We had a blast!

I was so distracted by all the lovely yarn that I had total camnesia and don't have a single picture of the store. Bad blogger!

I helped Stephanie pick out some yarn for the Broad Street Mittens from Knitty, or, as Stephanie calls them, glittens. Then I got the very talented Kira to help me pick out some Phyz for Sophie from the new Knitty.

Glad you had a great trip! Fantastic photo of the Golden Gate Bridge.

What beautiful yarn! Looking forward to seeing it become Sophie!

I love SF, too! What a great city. And that is some pretty yarn! Can't wait to see your Sophie progress.

Beautiful pic of the bridge! I love SF. Such a pretty city. Sadly, last time I was there I wasn't a knitter yet!

Love that yarn, too!

I even went to Yarns Ect - but had to be a dork and go in the old store which is of course now the quilt place and ask where it was - not looking across the street first!
But there was almost no sock yarn so I walked away with nothing
